PEACHCenter Ministries was founded in 1991 by the Greater Gaffney Ministerial Association in response to the growing pressure on local churches to have a central location from which aid could be given and records concerning how that aid was used could be stored. Since its inception PEACHCenter Ministries has done exactly what it was founded to do, but we have expanded far beyond what those initial founders could have ever dreamed of.
Today, PEACHCenter Ministries provides food, financial/medical assistance, personal hygiene, burnout assistance and other forms of aid as needed by our clients. We help nearly 300 families per month on average and nearly 4000 families from Cherokee County each year. We also work closely with other local agencies through a centralized database in order to ensure that each client is provided with the best possible care.
We are also looking evermore towards the future for new and inventive ways to service our clients and to ensure that PEACHCenter remains for many years to come.
